Think About It... Some members think of "triangulation" as a dysfunctional behavior perpetrated on them by a person with BPD. And why not - this is how we often see triangles when we are in them and the '"odd man out"! However, seeing it this way is exactly the opposite of what we want to do to end the drama.. ~ Skippy

Agreed that interacting with that stuff can be damaging.

Learning about projection and learning to not react to extreme accusations/negative perceptions has brought me into greater health.

It didn't take me long to realize that something wasn't quite right about her periodic extreme perceptions - like you guys said, it was stuff that no one has ever criticized me for and that I really couldn't see in myself through any stretch of the imagination.

People with BP play can play on their partners in the same way that kids play on parents emotions to get their way.. Although it can get much more complex and nasty
