What is this?
Think About It... An individual’s overall life functioning is linked closely to his level of emotional maturity or differentiation. People select ... partners who have the same level of emotional maturity.
Emotional immaturity manifests in unrealistic needs and expectations. ~ Murray Bowen, M.D.

a vent..

does it bother anyone else..questions in the negatives..

one in particular

"whats wrong?" (making an assumption based on you face)

whatever happened to "how are you?"

stuck in traffic yesterday  felt jumped on by hubby and son (who has picked up this phrase from my hubby)

it so irritates me..

yes I am in traffic..I am not swearing or carrying on...paying attention to bikes..pedestrians and cars..heavilly congested..

but then the picking starts..heck I was dealing with my stress just fine..focusing on music..

and now you wanna interject yourself and make a problem?

when I say..traffic..it doesnt end there..ususally its

"no something else"

grrrr  no patience for that I am sorry

too funny..no I drove mainly cause he cant drive city traffic and stay calm..

me I can drive it..doesnt mean I am not stressed I just dont make everyone pay for it  wink

I was listening to music..its just I dont have it up so loud that no one can talk...my hubby does that...the kids hate it..so do I..blaring the radio in everyones ear..very controlling  especially on long car trips...

same as..

two people having a conversation in a room..one person walks in..

is there a problem?

me-huh? why do you think?

and I hate that cause the interrupting person is taking away from the person I am talking to..so I consider that rude to the other person in the room

so its either..be interruptted

be stuck in the car..

neither place..can walk away

Me too. I get that all of the time.  My uBPDW doesn't drive.  I sometimes respond with "I really hate going shopping."
My new tactic: I refuse to unload the groceries.  I just grab a cold one and sit on the sofa and say "I drove. Someone else has to bring them in and put them away.  It's only fair."
