Good morning!

New here, just wanted to share that d18 (BPD/Bi-polar/Anxiety Disorder) and I finish our DBT program today... .  a bittersweet moment.

My dd fought and fought the program for months until challenged by her private therapist to engage, or be done. I have to say that in the last few weeks, we have seen tremendous growth and during a recent, emotional night... dd credited one of the skills learned with regulating her emotions thus keeping her safe. Hurray!

I am going to miss the support of the moms in our group but do have my own private therapist that I see and dd will continue to see her private therapist though we won't have group.

It's been a long yr. but so worth the energy. Room to grow but we're on our way Doing the right thing (click to insert in post)

So wonderful to hear.  DBT is a wonderful thing when they are ready to accept the help.  Hope my DD will one day also.
