He is a pretty resilient kid. He just turned his head the other way and kept walking without going to his mom and boyfriends car.
My STBXW had visitation this weekend. I dropped off lunch money for my middle daughter at her job. I asked about her brother and sister. She stated that mom was not home (with boyfriend). And the 2 kids are at the frozen yogurt store alone.

My uBPDxw who only sees our sons (9&14) every other weekend pulls this crap too. They have missed hockey and baseball games on her weekends several times. Coach asks me where is your boy? I call the X "oh he's sick so he won't be there" See my son the next day and he's totally fine!
She NEVER goes to their games unless she HAS TO because it's her weekend. She showed up to one of the games with hickies on her neck
