I am divorced from a man who had BPD traits.  We have three kids.  Life has been pretty good the last few years as far as my issues with my ex, but since I am tied to him through my kids (and because I can't get him to live up to the terms of our separation agreement).  I just decided to see if I could glean some knowledge from the group because I've had something pop up.  Thanks for allowing me in.

Welcome

You're definitely in the right place and a big warm welcome!  The mama to my three stepdaughters suffers from BPD, so I really do understand how hard it is when it comes to dealing with someone who is more emotionally driven, then logically. Separation Agreements are all business, so when you throw emotions (and drastically varying emotions at that) into the mix --- it doesn't work that well all the time.

How old are your kiddos?
