My sister recently told me that when she called and he answered the phone it made her uncomfortable- she said he sounded down and would say, " I'm just doing my chores." I was surprised because I don't give him chores and if I ever asked him to do something, he passively, aggressively wouldn't do it (usually). He took care of the traditionally male chores - mowing lawn etc but it seems like he wanted people to think that I was unreasonable.

When we separated he called me a bully. I wonder if this how he really felt, as a child might?

I raised his/our daughter from his first marriage  (due to pregnancy and lasted less than a year)  since she was 5 and I was placed in the role of disciplinarian,  although I requested many times for h to be more engaged in this role.   My opinion is that he wasn't capable because a "child" cannot be a parent.  He was happy to do the fun stuff, go to the beach, camping, hiking, playing,  but completely uninvolved in the difficult areas of parenting.
