Title: Questions, questions, questions...
Post by: ImWrecked on August 05, 2014, 08:13:50 AM
So I am wondering again if others have this happen... .over the years, I have noticed that my partner will be really nice, loving and happy in the morning when we get up and before leaving for work for the day.  Still be nice while texting and the phone during the day, even super loving a lot of the time... .and then once it is time to be home for the evening, that person is gone, and her evil twin is there... .it's like two totally different people depending on the time of the day... .complete Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde.

So obviously this doesn't happen EVERY day, but it is definitely a pattern for my pwBPD, so since I've been wondering about this for years, and now I have found this forum, I thought maybe others have experienced this also?  If so, any thoughts as to why this happens?

Absolutely! My boyfriend (who has now moved out) could be happy as a sand boy before leaving for work and he would come home with a face like thunder. He actually looked completely different and I would know that something had happened, either a trigger from someone or something he has been thinking, to set off a mood. It would be me on edge and I would be afraid to ask what was wrong. I tried to explain this to my friends but I don't think you can really understand how different the person is unless you experience it. It could be 2 different people.
