Title: Need help to restore and understand BPD
Post by: Miracle on April 29, 2018, 07:20:46 PM
Hello
Can someone please help me? I’m devastated after my partner of 28 years decided to abandon our relationship instead of discussing and resolving. Unfortunately severely brain washed by family to leave pushed my partner to another city.
Responsibilities were left for me all alone I’m overwhelmed and restated because partner has been struggling with deep depression for years but refused to get help. Has BPD traits.
We speak daily but sometime partner will do a 360 and lie to me and say wants to stay in when that is not true.
How do I deal with being continued to be mistreated? How to I help to help myself heal and move on I’m depressed and shocked at this break.

Hi Miracle,

*welcome*

Im sorry for the late response. I’m also sorry that your partner of 28 years left, have they contacted you? What’s your backstory? We’re here to help, you’re not alone.

Well, you already started by posting here.  I am sorry for the delay in responses.  We are usually quite fast so i am not sure what happened.  Regardless, you are here and you found a place where a lot of people can relate to your situation and will understand the hurt and confusion you are experiencing.

A good place to start is to look over on the right hand side of the page where we have many articles that can help you focus, heal and make some decisions about self care for you.

Another thing to do is to keep posting, not just in your own threads but in others as well.  You want to build yourself a support network and you can do that here.  Also, reaching out to others can help you as well.

I hope to see more of you on the boards.
