Title: Feeling crazy
Post by: Confusedmama86 on August 25, 2018, 07:51:17 AM
Hello all! I am brand new to this site and am needing support. It is such a long story as I’m sure all are but as of right now I finally got up the courage last night to ask my BPD husband for a trial separation. He said maybe he’ll think about it. I don’t think he’s going to leave! And I have 3 kids and nowhere to go with all of them. I feel crazy for even asking him. He’s so confused as to why I’m being like this and maybe he’s right. He’s a good guy to provides for our family and does a lot for us. I just can’t stand the moods or the tension anymore. He doesn’t see it. Am I crazy or am I the one with BPD?

 :hi:  Welcome, Confusedmama86,
We know how exhausting it is to deal with the intense moods and conflict--and you have three children too!    You just want a break to catch your breath and recharge your batteries.

Whatever the future holds for your relationship, in the meantime it's possible to make things better so that it's not so overwhelming for you. Can you tell us more about some of his behavior patterns that are difficult to deal with?

Cat

One hears the term "crazy making" in dealing with a pwBPD.

Their crazy behavior causes the nons to doubt their own sanity and perceptions of reality.

Your coming to this site is the beginning of understanding what is going on in your partner's head.
