Title: I finally had the courage to follow through with boundary & divorce is on the wa
Post by: nursemyBPD on November 13, 2013, 10:16:19 PM
Many have read my story, I finally am following through with a necessary ending to my near 33yr relationship ( 29yr married). After yet another disrespectful tirade in front of our employees and the subsequent denial , shifting of blame and has lighting when confronted with the broken boundary , my uBPDh declined once agin to try counseling together or separately , and said he felt it best to call it quits AGAIN! He has said this many times and I generally ignored him or allowed his threats to ride the course, I. Which he later would act as if nothing had happened ( you know the usual ) . Well this time I said ok if that's what's you want , let's do it. He the said we should wait a few months, so he could het his things in order, I told him NO let's do it now. Since that day about 2 weeks ago, I have began the process of separating by the first of the year. Because we own a business to get her I consulted with an attorney and need to set some things I order regarding my financial interests in the business , planning a move etc.

It's been bittersweet as I mourn the loss of my marriage and the fact that I am not that important to even attend one counseling session for, and zero attempts to acknowledge let Alone work at fixing any behaviors is a bitter pill to swallow. I will let you know my progress as I eventually move out & on, in the mean time pray for me. Mentally & emotionally I'm struggling, but nothing can be harder than the past 33 years.

We are here for your struggles, nursemyBPD! 33 year are a very long marriage! And even a business together - good to have an attorney.
