Title: Is this truly the end?
Post by: ziramone on August 17, 2020, 08:37:07 PM
My best friend recently cut me off. He came back, unexpectedly. He began arguing with me and accusing me of things I didn’t do. When I told him I absolutely did not, he said he wishes me the best but we shouldn’t talk anymore. And I asked what he meant by that because, last time he stopped talking to me, he came back after a month. So I wanted to know if he meant permanently or not, because if he just needed space I could do that. I just wanted to be on the same page. No response. He simply blocked me again. I’m still confused and well, extremely hurt. I know trying to contact him again probably isnt a good idea. But is this the end? Is he really done with me? What does this all mean?

I really do have to ask, If this is best friend behavior, what would worst look like?

When I told him I absolutely did not, he said he wishes me the best but we shouldn’t talk anymore. And I asked what he meant by that because, last time he stopped talking to me, he came back after a month.

Well if this was an adult conversation, I believe this would mean the friendship is over. Past interactions you mention, say this isnt an adult conversation. Maybe ask the person with the erratic behavior and ask him to explain his behavior?

I just wanted to be on the same page.

What if this isnt possible?

But is this the end?

This appears entirely up to you. The past proves this, no? This seems to be a cycle that most likely will be repeated. Will this be alright with you? Is this the type of r/s you seek?

What does this all mean?

Maybe youre in a dysfunctional r/s? If this is true, what do you think you should do? I wish you well, Peace
