Title: Was This Devaluation?
Post by: Willingtolearn on June 27, 2013, 04:04:46 PM
I will always remember how the relationship ended with my exBPDgf.  I said to her "You are as cautious about the relationship as i am" The next day she ended our relationship.

Was this a form of devaluation by her? Or was it something else that triggered her by me saying about the caution being taken in the relationship?

Sounds like any apprehension on your part signalled to her you would leave.

It's all or nothing expectations or thinking.  It's hard for a person with BPD to find middleground or resolve relationship conflict.

How you doing?
