Title: Being accused

Hi BPD Family!
So today my soon to be ex wife came by to move some stuff out.  She put her cell phone next to a cleaner on a dresser, I grabbed the cleaner and she accused me of looking at her phone. She said she saw what she saw.  I had the cleaner in my hand not the phone.

My issue here is she went downstairs mad where my 22 year old daughter and 18 year old daughter were sitting and told them to hold her phone and asked me to tell the truth (that I looked at her phone) in front of them.  I wouldn't agree to touching her phone.

1) how should I have responded without JADEing in this scenario?

I texted my daughters after they left hastily, to say good bye and I love them. I have yet to receive a response back from them!

2)  Will my kids ever believe me?  She always seems to use the kids to triangulate, and they ALWAYS side with my W.  I just want them to believe me and know they can trust their father.  I get they will always side with their Mom, but to be upset with me for something I didn't do is hard to swallow.  Has this changed for others once separated?  Will they eventually see I am not the root of all the problems?
