Hi, new to the group. I have a 15 yo daughter with BPD tendencies. Just looking to learn, share, and support.
Thanks

Hi Calimom, welcome -- glad you found us. This is a good place to learn, share, and be understood.

Is your D15 in any kind of treatment right now? If so, is she cooperative with it, resistant, other?

Do you have other family members (spouse, other kids, etc) living at home? How are they doing with D15?

This is hard stuff, yet you're definitely not alone. As you settle in here, you can check out one mom's journey with her 13 year old daughter going into residential treatment -- this mom is former staff here, and you can read her "journal" style entries here: Falcon Ridge Ranch Month 1: BPD d13 going into residential treatment (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=120563.0). That's in our Supporting a Child in Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=198345.0) section, if you're interested.

Feel free to share and ask questions whenever best fits your needs -- we'll be here.
