Title: The Word of the Day
Post by: myself on January 21, 2014, 10:20:23 PM
I was feeling all over the place today. Couldn't put my finger on it, couldn't concentrate. Got home from work, sat down, it came to me. If there was a word that summed up how I felt, it was 'yearning'.

Like I am reaching out for something I haven't found yet.

What word would you use to describe where you're at today?

No matter what these thoughts won't leave my head

I would say... . Discombobulated... . Because I'm afraid to say terrified. Separated for a month. She tipped her hat to spyware on my phone. I'm boring so it's just the point of it I object to. I just worry about what she is capable of to hurt me. Not for myself, but if she takes me out, I can't be a stable parent for my boys.

Happy at the moment... . I see the beginning of the end of one chapter. Sad that Salmost4 started asking questions tonight... . for the first time.

You are the stable parent, QE. Look on it as you have no choice because she isn't.

Hyper aware.

Of hurt, danger, others mental and emotional states, BPD clues in other actions and press articles, my own emotional state.

Demoralized.

Apologies for thread hijack. Hang in there Turkish. I know you are dealing with a lot, and now your son is asking questions. I can understand your sadness stemming from that.

Fine when I am preoccupied, otherwise distracted when I am not... . This means I don't miss her anymore but she is not completely gone from the mind.

Cimbaruns-I think they might always be a part of us, I just have to learn to not have it distract me.

Remember the movie "Tin Men" with Richard Dreyfuss and Danny DeVito? Remember when Danny throws all of Barbara Hersheys clothes and stuff all over the front lawn from the broken second story window in the middle of the night and afterwards he sticks his head out the window and shouts "FREE, FREE, FREE"  and he then stands in dejected wonder of his actions as his words echo into the silent void and still darkness of the night? Yes... . FREE!
