Title: Bad people stick together
Post by: Trobert on March 01, 2020, 11:34:22 PM
My wife has worked with someone who has been very prejudicial against different races. In fact, he also made an extremely horrible joke several years back about me "being with another woman" which was absolutely false. I have always been and always will be faithful.
He told my wife about this in an amusing way, and the both of them had a good laugh out of it. She even said I should be having an affair, because she is so busy. Well, when I found out about this, I called them both on it, but in a tactful way. He denied it at first, but his guilt got the better of him and apologized. She never apologized.

Today, he officially retired. His fellow employees did not give him anything, largely due to his poor attitude. My wife defended him and gave him a gift. She just said that he had done some things wrong, but she thought it was wrong of them not to give him anything. I didn't say anything, but frankly, due to his poor attitude, I can see why his fellow employees would not want to give him anything.

So, I guess bad people like my wife and this retired man stick together.
