If she told me she was raped how in the world was she supposed to trust me after that?

Hi statsattack

Based on this sentence, I'd think if a woman told me she was raped, then that can be seen as an indication of trust. Doesn't a person share more information that would make us feel vulnerable with people we trust more?

If you're spending a lot of time here, I'd like to help by saying that my understanding of the pwBPD in my life advanced a lot when I looked at the general patterns of behaviour rather than individual whys. Unlike my relationships with "normal" people, I found I couldn't typically apply "A leads to B" types of suppositions about behaviour to the pwBPD.
