Title: Alan Fruzzetti Video Post by: RobertX on January 20, 2022, 05:01:17 AM Just wanted to thank this group for sharing the Alan Fruzzetti video. Whilst one swallow doesn't make a spring we tried totally changing how we interacted with our son based on Alan's advice regarding validation and empathy. It had a dramatic difference - even when our son started to attack. We need to get much better at this - however we have now seen it in action and it led to a much better, calmer outcome. We are committed to re-programming how we speak to him although not naive that this is a long journey. We'll take every bit of positive progress we can get. Many thanks to this group and to Alan.

I know that this is a long process but I'll take anything that appears to help.
