I'm hoping to connect with others dealing with a BPD mother.  I'm 47 yrs old and the struggle and frustration is real. It's so involved and complicated I often feel like I'm going crazy.  I'm seeing a therapist we I really spend thewhole hour venting about my mother. I have a few books I'm reading to help one of them is How to stop walking on eggshells that's how I made it here on this site. Have a gnite.  Hoping to connect.

What issues are you most struggling with that are driving you crazy?

This book helped me imensley:
Understanding the Borderline Mother: Helping Her Children Transcend the Intense, Unpredictable, and Volatile Relationship

I almost use it as a bible of sorts.  I go back to it often.  It was so validating to find a book that described my mother perfectly.  I had never even heard of BPD.
