Title: My phone is off
Post by: twojaybirds on January 27, 2013, 11:57:44 PM
I Picked up my dd from college on Saturday am.   She was happy and chatty... things going well and a job.

Now 36 hours later she is suicidal.  Has been on the streets. Sleeping... .  Won't stop calling or texting... .  won't tell me where she is... won't call 911. ... .  Wont go to the hospital... .  Won't stop so I have to turn off my phone.  I've given her everything I have in me to give tonight... .  I hope  its enough.

Please pray she makes it until tomorrow

oh 2jbirds that is such a hard place to be. Remember all the things we have learnt about BPD and how these things happen this way. Remember all the things we have learnt about how to manage ourselves and stay strong. You know you are doing what you need to do.

I am praying hard for you and your dd tonight. Let us know how it goes please.

with my best wishes,

Vivek

You've done all you can

I am praying for you to find strength, for your dd to find safety and your family to find courage

Dear Twojaybirds,

I hope everything is soon going to calm down and return to the way it was on Sat am. You know there are dramatic ups and downs in BPD.

You did the right thing by switching your phone off. One of you had to break this circle.

We all are waiting for your post announcing everything is ok again.

Thinking of you

Twojays,

What we go through, what you are going through right this moment reminds me of how people were tortured in Medieval times, drawn and quartered.  Pulled apart, albeit emotionally.  It is so intense.  I am thinking of you, saying a prayer for dd that she found her way through the night.  Please post to let us know, even if all you can muster is a word or two.  Please let us know what we can do, what you need.  And as wise ViveK stays, this, painfully true, is the rollercoaster of BPD.  Protect your strength.

twojaybirds,

I posted on your other thread before I knew this was going on. My other post was light hearted

and I know this isn't an appropriate time for that.

I'm so sorry you are so worried and sorry your DD is so disregulated.

Thinking of you and hoping for good outcomes.

Thursday

twojaybirds - the awful impacts on our BPDkids of breakups! break us all apart. I am so grateful you have been able to know she is alive, and expressing her feelings. first step back so often. hope she can come back to you as well.
