Well it is here at least...

I just want to thank you all for your support, insight and understanding since I found this board, and thank god I did.

Here's hoping Santa brings you all what you want and need this Christmas

Depression is thinking about the past.

Anxiety is thinking about the future.

Peacefulness comes by being present.

Everything is going to be OK. Feelings do pass. Remember that each day gets easier when you realize that feelings come and go. The pain also comes and goes. Don't get discouraged by it.

Let go of the idea that you have to do something about changing the past or worrying about the future.Take each day as it comes and give yourself a present by "being" rather than "doing." You don't have to do anything.  Don't worry about how you look to others. Growth spurts are painful. Try to be easy on yourself.  Whether or not you realize it, life is unfolding as it should.

... .and have yourself a merry little Christmas.

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,

Let your heart be light

From now on,

our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,

Make the Yule-tide gay,

From now on,

our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,

Happy golden days of yore.

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us once more.

Through the years

We all will be together,

If the Fates allow

Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.

And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.
