Title: Is it empathy?
Post by: Shedd on January 21, 2017, 02:24:56 AM
I usually only have to see her at work for a little bit so it's not too big of a deal, but she's staying longer tonight.  Today it feels like I am a drug addict in need of a fix.

I'm not sure if it's my empathy showing, but I can tell she's upset.  She walked by my work area.  Usually she avoids me.  I caught her eye.  She didn't seem like she was doing good.

I was feeling the need of her really bad and then I saw her.  I wonder if I can really sense her emotions.

All I want to do is see a text message from her pop up on my phone and cuddle.

I really hope I get this new job so I don't have to see her like this.

so her appearing sad to you is creating an urge to contact her and reach out, do i have that right?

Yeah, but I was having a strong feeling before I even saw her.  That's also why I am wondering if it's empathy.  And then I saw her and it made things worse.  I feel better now.
