Title: sexual abuse by BPDma Post by: exbpdgf on January 12, 2013, 10:11:02 PM I wanted to put this out there and see if others have dealt with this. My BPDma sexually abused me and possibly my brother too. I've known for years that she's alcoholic, but I'm just starting to look at the impact of her being BPD. Reading the Lawson book, I see her as a witch/queen.
I think what's extra confusing for me is that my fa and stepma were alcoholic too. My fa seems NPD (he was also violent) and my stepma maybe have been BPD as well. So to say I grew up in a mess, is an understatement. At one point, my fa kidnapped my brother and I from my ma (across state lines, still fighting custody stuff), but when we "landed" at my da/stepma's house, she was in the hospital (cause he'd broken her arm AGAIN-found all that out later). I know that's alot. Mainly I'm wanting to know about the incidence of sexual abuse by BPD parents? Esp. mothers who sexually abuse their daughters. |
