Title: Re: New to this Site, Not new to BPD

My mother has BPD, only diagnosed by me. My brother hates her and doesn't speak to her anymore after 41 years of torture, manipulation and control. I am the daughter, the one that "feels for her". She takes total advantage of that and until now at 39, I never knew what was wrong with her. I always knew she was depressed, rage filled, manipulative, dramatic, negative and always the victim.

Thank you for this space! I am new but look forward to learning a lot.

Hello Rob73  *welcome*

Im sorry things have been difficult with your mother.  . BPD is a confusing mental illness and can be painful for all involved. Im glad you have found us, we have many members here who have a parent with BPD. We all understand. It sounds like your brother has been struggling as well.

What does your relationship with your mother look like now?
