looking for anyone with this experience.

Im curious how child support would work, etc.


Thinking about the tax implications.

I may have to talk to an accountant.

In the US, child support is considered post-tax for the payer and hence tax-free to the receiving parent.

On the other hand, alimony is considered pre-tax for the payer and hence viewed as taxable income to the receiving parent.

Across borders, I agree, talk to an experienced local accountant and/or family law attorney.
