Title: Issues with sexual intimacy Post by: Rob73 on February 04, 2013, 06:06:59 PM I am 40 year old woman in therapy for 3 years now. I am NON BP but my mother is BP. thank God I have a wonderful therapist but I'm wondering about something we are both unsure of. I have engulfment issues and definite intimacy engulfment issues. Has anyone else experienced this feeling of dread and anxiety around sex. In the beginning of my relationships it is hot and heavy but as we bond and I become vulnerable my feelings of being sexual turn off. I almost feel like the person is making me have sex (even though that definitely is not happening).
I just wanted to check the boards and see if anyone else experiences or has experienced this. And if so, how did you/are you dealing with it? Any help around this topic would be helpful. Thanks! |
