Title: Cutting contact with BPD friend
Post by: arabella25 on February 07, 2013, 05:10:05 AM
My boyfriend and I shared a flat with my friend for 6 months and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Her passive aggression, substance abuse and lack of concern for others nearly tore my relationship apart. I was aware she had issues but did not know it was BPD till after she'd moved in. For the sake of my own sanity I feel I need to cut contact (it will be difficult as we have mutual friends). Has anyone been in a similar situation? Would love some advice. Thank you.

Hi!

How are things going on?

I don´t know what to tell you myself, sorry.

Is it possible for you or easy to find another home and move soon?

Maybe it would be helpful to understand that he has BPD, it´s not your fault.
