Title: making good progress
Post by: crazymade on February 07, 2013, 08:24:42 AM
I too have some progress to report. my husband has been making a huge effort despite a huge issue. My mother in law (who is like my own mother) had back surgery yesterday. He is really really close to her and worried since she had surgery. At this same time, I have started my period. I am one of those women who gets very bad cramps and sick when it's that time of the month. Despite both these issues which have my husband stressed out, he has not raged or had an episode. He treated me like royalty last night, including letting housecleaning slip, even though it drives him crazy. he woke me up this morning, had coffee made, made my lunch, and asked if there was anything else i needed. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM!

And the real icing on the cake, is his disability got approved and he got insurance cards yesterday. He is going to call today and get a doc appt too. He will soon be seeing a doc and getting therapy. He said he doesn't want to go, but that he loves me so much he is willing to do it. I take that as his way of skirting around that he does want help. He won't do anything he doesn't want to do, so i see this as he wants to do it, but he doesn't want to admit it, so he puts it on me, saying it's for me.

I'M SO PROUD OF MY HUSBAND! YAY!
