Title: Any fellow Canadians fighting to get their pwBPD on the diability program?

We first applied for it 13 months ago... .  and we are still waiting for a positive conclusion. For the last 12 months since the application, he has been denied for every single financial program available in Canada.

Anyone had success with the disability program and what did you need to get it?

We have 3 doctors, our generalist, his psychologist and his psychiatrist all saying he cannot function on a daily basis, he's generally paralyzed by depression and has limited functionality in social environments... .  all of which have detailed results (i.e. social environments make his anxious, nauseous, increases his dysthymia, sweats, increased blood pressure and heart beast, etc). They all agreed that he has years of therapy  and a whole reintegration program to do before he can even consider going to work.

This isn't even the whole list for his BPD and Dysthymia and I'm not even speaking of the other stuff like alcoholism, his cirrhosis and his cancer cells in his stomach. They are all described in details and with the effects of this on his ability to work. They even wrote that he cannot return to his old job, he needs to learn something else completely.
