in the New York Times today. Pretty grim, but good that its getting this kind of attention.

Very grim article.  What are families who don't have money supposed to do?

Or who have run out of money? Or have adult children wandering the streets non compliant with their meds?

Sure as a parent you can work on accepting it and trying to make a life for yourself. 

But where is the actual help that these tortured souls need so much?

We sure don't have a very good system here in the US.

I didn't think it was grim. My d is only 16 and I actually found it reassuring that there even exists a person who might be able to help us map out her future.
