Title: Any tips to help me during LC/NC
Post by: cal644 on February 15, 2013, 05:28:05 AM
I'm currently in the process of divorce but would try to work on things if my uBPDw would.  We have a daughter so some contact is needed as we alternate weeks.  I struggle with wanting to contact my stb ex so if any of you have tips on how I can be strong and not give in to my urges to contact her it would be greatly appreciated

keep it to a business level, re: divorce and your child... .  don't talk about her personal life or yours... .  if you change the depth of the conversation, knowing that you will get divorced but also knowing you both have to care for your child, keep it at a level of what needs to be taken care of and not "personal" issues pertaining to yourselves. Hope this makes sense and I wish you luck on this path.
