Title: Ball of laundry thrown at my head.
Post by: asdf on February 16, 2013, 09:21:02 PM
Last week I received a "laundry ball" in my face from my wife. Towels, pillowcases, t-shirts etc. taken from the dryer and rolled up in a sheet. My head snapped back and since I've been dealing with a stiff neck this past year and onset of arthritis it actually hurt a fair bit. Also I had a procedure at the hospital the previous day and was supposed to be taking it easy.

After a business trip she came back and was very angry still. I got to find out the reason: I wasn't supposed to put a fresh set of sheets on my bed. Skipping over lots of details... I did my best to enforce boundaries and the end result is I have bought two new sets of sheets that will stay in my room and I will be allowed control over these sheet sets. Yay!

What a crazy life. :)

Imagine what she would have done if the roll was reversed.

You were able to get to a solution that you could control.
