Title: Blocking DOES help
Post by: MakeItHappen on February 20, 2013, 10:29:00 AM
Wanted to say THANKS to all of you on these boards that helped me make the decision to NC and block my exBPD.

It's only been 2 days but, I feel so much lighter on all levels.

It really is a blessing to have the ability to NC. I never thought I could do it and I'm doing it.

Again, it's only been two days but it's a great feeling and a great start.

Granted, I am still afraid of the possible "wrath" but, can't focus on what might happen.

THANK YOU AGAIN all on this board.

Good for you! Maintain it at all costs. I envy you, I have three beautiful precious children with mine and the youngest is almost 7. 11 more years and I can go NC on her completely. Now thats not exactly possible. God, saying that sounds like an eternal condemnation to Hell. But still someday it will be so

Good for you.  I recently blocked all calls and texts.  Funny thing was, prior to blocking, every time I heard my text notification I was having mini panic/anxiety attacks.  I tried changing the notification sound, but that didn't help.  The second I blocked him I could hear it and not have a physical response.  It was great!

AMEN to that. Every time a text comes in, I go through the same thing. I'm hoping(fingers crossed), that the block on FB will be enough. It's costs a bit of $ to block on the telephone.

What an interesting process this ALL is.

Thanks again ALL. We must ALL be strong!  :light: |iiii

I could only kinda block FB as I raise German Shepherds and have a page for them.  My exBPD is fairly weak, I think once he tries my phone and gmail and gets nothing he won't persist.
