Title: Another song
Post by: sunrising on February 21, 2013, 11:16:57 AM
Having been on this forum consistently for a few weeks now, I thought the "crazy making" of longing for someone you know is bad for you was deserved of it's own song.  So, I wrote one.    I know the forum is very sensitive about confidentiality, but I will share a recording of the song with anyone who is interested and sends me a private message.  Here are the lyrics:

I'll Take That

When seeing what you are is just too hard to bear, be something else.  And I'll take that.

When what you feel at any given moment, trumps what's supposed to be.   I'll take that.

You can't get your happiness from anyone else, maybe from a shopping spree? I'll take that.

When we're standing on a mountaintop, and you’re telling me we're afloat at sea.

I’ll take that.

It’s supposed to be about what we can give.

It seems to be all what you receive.

It's feeling like a tug of war with both of us on your side pulling me.

I'll take that.

Trust in yourself cannot be found, so you don't trust me.  I’ll take that.

The only way you can stop the pain from killing us, is to put the blame on me.  I’ll take that.

I know you’re trapped inside a world

Where even you are nothing like you seem…

Everything is black and white and there ain't no room for real love in between.

I'll take that.

I guess I’ll take that.

I’ll take that.
