Title: what are they like after therapy?
Post by: fakename on March 08, 2013, 01:04:35 PM
my exgf with BPD didnt go to therapy, and hasn't considered whether she has BPD or not,

but i'm curious as to what they are like and how their personalities are after therapy?

she seems to be going well no, reading eckhart tolle and trying to do the right things with her new bf... .

i'm just curious whether its cause she found someone that's actually good for her or if it's just the honeymoon phase?

You might want to take a look at this thread in our Learning Center:

Recovery is a complex situation, and it is different for each person.

Hope this helps.  :)

It's probably the newlywed phase. My husband is absolutly terrible after therapy, I think it made him worse for a couple months before he actually started to show some signs of getting better. I was to the point where I didn't want him to go because I knew he would be a jerk afterwards. He's still not the nicest person to be around after therapy, it can take a few hours up to two days to get back to normal for him.
