cat - i went back to when you came here and your D was leaving for Columbia. Has has she returned? So much growing we each do letting go of our troubled young adult kids. Such care you have taken of yourself over these 2 years you have shared with us. Thanks.

Hi Qcarolr - she has returned and gone back quite a few times, this relationship turned out to be quite stormy and she shared too many details about it. She now enjoys what she is doing (artistic) and she is also in a new relationship. Thanks for asking. Take care

Dear Vivek anada - I have no advice that you are not already practicing. My essential are "breathe" and "stay in the moment". The other ones such as acceptance, Faith and boundaries are helpful too. I still love her (no changes there) but I see myself "muting" my expressions of love which I guess keep me more centered on my own life. Take care
