Title: Does this mean I'm starting to move forward
Post by: cal644 on March 15, 2013, 04:05:03 PM
So today I took a bicycle ride - something my stbexwife and I would do 5 days a week for an 1 1/2 at a time - a month or so ago I would have been feeling really sad and down.  But today I was pissed - thinking look what you threw away.  I looked at it as a move forward!

You will likely feel better when you get into the anger stage of grieving.   We all know anger isn't good for us and it's important not to get stuck in that stage, but it felt better for me than just pure pain and loneliness.   Allow yourself to be angry.   You should be. Just remember anger isn't the end goal.

It is healthy to feel angry after what you've been through!  Anger MOVES stuff.  Hope you continue to move forward one pedal stroke at a time!
