Title: Tranquility24 (T24 for those wishing less typing)
Post by: Tranquility24 on March 24, 2013, 05:22:15 PM
Hi!   I am an adult daughter of a BPD mother whom I have not spoken to in nearly 10 years.  Just trying to figure out how to fix myself.

I wish I could help you, but it is our DD, age 13 who has BPD!  I just wanted to say   and  *welcome*!  I am sure you will find lots of support on this board as I have in the short period of time I have been here.  I do believe further down there is a board specifically for children of parents who have BPD!

Hi Tranquility24,

I'm so glad you are here and reaching out for support. That is very brave of you! We can help and there is hope. This site has really help me and my family in the last 15 months or so. I have gained so much knowledge and the support from caring people has been amazing. Again, welcome.

Reading your post I thought of this link:

Children of BPD Parents: Reclaiming Our Lost Selves (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=118781.0)

Do you have family members or friends to help? How can we help you? Do you seek knowledge about BPD or specific ways for you to heal?

Many of us here have a therapist? Some prefer to work more independently. There are many resources here and great people that want to help.

How can we help you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
