Title: BPD and guns
Post by: crazylife on April 14, 2013, 08:36:11 AM
I am sure this is a controversial topic, at least in the USA, as gun control is period and everyone has a side. I am not trying to begin a debate on gun control. I am wondering if anyone here has fear of guns in their home as a result of the pwBPDs behavior.I have grown up around hunting relatives etc but initially never had a gun because of my child with autism inability to separate fantasy from reality. With the increased crimes, increased unemployment and general state of the US economy a discussion has come up about getting something. It scares me. Anyone have this concern or have you solved it and if so how? Thanks

*mod*

Just wanted to remind everyone of the guideline regarding discussions on topics that could lead to a debate.

1.6 Potentially Contentious Content: Discussions on contentious political, religious, moral issues (e.g., euthanasia, abortion), or social advocacy topics (feminism, anti-government, male dominance) are discouraged. There are other places to debate politics, religion, etc. and these debates are better suited for a venue where community camaraderie, trust and credibility are not highly held values. The nature of the discussions at bpdfamily/bpdfamily.com are best held without the undertone of political or religious alignments.
