Title: Thank you
Post by: livetoofar on April 18, 2013, 09:15:45 AM
I want to thank you, Clearmind, for your warm welcome.  I'm a new comer to the threads but I have been dealing with BPD for a long time.  A family member is afflicted with this dreadful malady and has destroyed many relationships.  I now fear for her children as she has violent tendencies.

I look forward to reading the posts with the hope that I will learn something valuable for myself and my loved one.  Thanks again.

Hi there livetoofar,

*welcome* Glad you joined us but sorry for what brings you here. You aren't alone here. Many of us have family members with BPD. How much contact do you have with this relative? How old are her children? This article may be of help to you: How a Mother with Borderline Personality Disorder Affects Her Children (https://bpdfamily.com/tools/articles8.htm)

There is a lot of healing and support to be found here, as well as information. Keep posting, livetoofar. I look forward to learning more about you and watching your journey. Sending you much caring and support.
