Title: Not truly over her and she is reaching out.
Post by: recoil on April 22, 2013, 10:42:28 AM
I could use some advice.

My ex and I have been apart for almost three months.  She asked for a break.  Since that time, she has reached out to me in various ways, almost weekly.  Most of these haven't required any response from me.  Since we work together, I have been keeping LC.

Lately, she has increased the frequency.  Last week she called into my office almost every day.  She wrote a letter to my daughter (and re-gifted a bracelet I originally gave her?).  One day she called three times into my office.  We even had lunch.  It's all small talk.  Neither one of us has brought up anything about the break-up.

Honestly, I don't get the impression she's trying to restart our relationship.  I don't know what she wants and I haven't asked yet.  What do I want?  I am still in love with her.  I'm able to function without her and have been getting better at it -- but she still owns my heart.

Your attention. She wants your attention.
