Title: Concentrating on me
Post by: Beachbumforlife on April 22, 2013, 02:54:25 PM
Mother and sister have BPD.  Concentration at the moment is on me and healing from childhood wounds.  Looking for resources to utilize from this site.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thank you.

and  *welcome*!  You have located a great site here!  I have found this place to be filled with support and encouragement!  I think it is a good idea to concentrate on healing for yourself.  You need to take care of you because being in any type of relationship with someone who has BPD is very stressful and time consuming.  For us, it is our young teenaged daughter who was abandoned at birth by her biological mother.  I would suggest you also check out the relationships board here!

Hi Bioadoptmom!  Thank you so much for welcoming me!  I'm sorry to hear about your daughter!  What age did her bio mother abandon her?  That must have been very difficult!  That is wonderful that you care and are there for her and getting support to help with it at this board!
