Title: change lawyers after case management conference? Post by: momtara on April 25, 2013, 10:45:09 PM I thought I could change my conference, but now I'm being told that the courts call stop you from changing lawyers after the conf. Is that true?

I've also heard of time when a party is told that a case won't be continued (that is, delayed to a later date to allow getting a new lawyer or bringing a new lawyer up to speed) if he/she fires or changes the lawyer representing him/her. I don't know if they can stop you from changing.
