Title: Sister Hazel song lyrics... detachment?
Post by: flynavy on May 08, 2013, 02:55:24 PM
Heard this song again today... .  sounds like someone I just escaped from... .  trying to detach fully from... .

Take your reasons and your conscience too

Save your stories for somebody new

I know you're one in a million but that ain't enough for me

How was I supposed to know it was all a show

So baby, take a bow, smile for the crowd

I'm already over your crying shoulder

You go your way and I'll do the same

Leave your memories, they just wash away

And in your diaries you can make what you did okay

How was I supposed to know it was all a show

So baby, take a bow, smile for the crowd

I'm already over your crying shoulder

You go your way

You should really take a bow, smile for the crowd

'Cause I am over your crying shoulder

You go your way and I'll do the same

Do you even hear yourself

Or half the things you say?

Do you even know the lives

You’ve thrown away?

So take a bow, smile for the crowd

'Cause I'm over your crying shoulder

You go your way

You should really take a bow, smile for the crowd

I am already over your crying shoulder

You go your way

You should really take a bow, smile for the crowd

'Cause I am over your crying shoulder

You go your way and I'll do the same

Yeah, the same

Those lyrics sound eerily familiar. There are a lot of songs out there that makes me think someone is singing aabout a BPD r/s. I sent my exBPDgf a link to Taylor Swift's song You're Not Sorry the day we split as she was giving me all the excuses that I've heard a 100 times before. And yet not one I'm sorry from her that day. Though it's not really a BPD, but more of a cheating type of song.
