Title: A lot of information here didn't work out like I thought it would Post by: ZhaoZilong5 on May 10, 2013, 01:35:01 PM My friend's going through the aftermath of a BPD break-up. The problem is that this site's not really helping her. It's overloading her and upsets her more if anything. Any suggestions? Yeah, I even showed her the workshops and lessons.

If this is indeed the case, then why attend this site anyway? Maybe your friend is not ready to start detaching yet. Pressure will not help her towards this end, so there's really no point in trying to accelerate things. This site can be very triggering for non-BPD's - I personally did not come on for a few months during my break-up. Tell her to take a break! We do ask that each member be responsible for their own membership. Does that sound OK to you?
