Title: Mothers day Post by: colonel on May 11, 2013, 08:11:32 PM It's Mother's Day and today this site feels so much safer to spend time on then Facebook or anywhere else where I might have to read sentiments about how great mums are. Words that make my stomach churn and poke and prod at a gaping wound. I'm sad because my mother is not that mother in those nice little sentiments, or in the countless tv and radio ads. I'm sad because it's not fair that I don't get to have that mum and that today for my own health, I need to stay away while most people I know are sharing a day near to their mum and feeling like they matter.
Just feeling a little down today and grieving over the fairy tale of having that amazing, nurturing mother. Title: Re: Mothers day Post by: ShieldsUp12 on May 11, 2013, 10:36:00 PM Hugs, colonel. I know it's difficult. The good news is, it will be over soon. :)
