Title: d taking pills prescribed by pdoc?

Hi all, looking for some info just found out my d is taking adderall 40mg during day and 10mg at night and citalopram 20mg during day.  Does anyone know about these meds do they help or hurt concerned about the adderall . Any and all information or opinions are welcome Thank you

hey there mggt,

sorry it took me so long to get to you... .  I can't tell you about those drugs because they are brand names, but I can direct you to a summary of meta analysis of pharmacotherapy trials in BPD that sets out whether the 10 types of drugs mentioned help or where they don't help etc.

It is on page 62 of the Clinical Guidelines for the Management of BPD (see link below). There is also a general discussion based on the latest research in the pages that follow.
