Title: divorce decree imminent Post by: gina louise on May 15, 2013, 02:50:02 PM hi All,
not posting much, too busy with school. I'm doing well. Getting an A in my paralegal certification. The spousal support settlement was finally turned over to me, after h's L holding it for over a month. It was ordered released to me on April 8th. h's L last week got the second angry letter from mine, and sent the check to my L. My L sent it to me. I don't get all the legal jockeying and outright stalling. My L was mad. So now that our divorce is proceeding and my h has been off the ledge again-very angry since the money transferred-as I expected what else should I expect? We live in different cities so he probably won't just show up... . but stranger things have happened. Does the actual end trigger them to engage or act out more aggressively? Last night he was texting that he wanted to attack my (grown) kids! That was new... . he's generally not aggressive or threatening. I chalked it up to his general unstable state of mind. Anyone? I'm sorry that you are having to go through all of this. not posting much, too busy with school. I'm doing well. Getting an A in my paralegal certification. Wow. Congratulations! |iiii Last night he was texting that he wanted to attack my (grown) kids! That was new... . he's generally not aggressive or threatening. Does the actual end trigger them to engage or act out more aggressively? Yes, it can, and often seems to. These are one of the times that Bill Eddy, in his book "Splitting", says to be careful. I think my BPDex got triggered a lot in the last couple of month before our trial date, and now, after the divorce is final. I've been getting a lot of weird demands from her in the last couple of months. What else should I expect? We live in different cities so he probably won't just show up... . but stranger things have happened. I don't know. Just be wary. I chalked it up to his general unstable state of mind. You've got it. But that doesn't make it easier to deal with. AnotherPheonix |iiii |
