Title: Just want to give you all a hug Post by: byasliver on May 16, 2013, 08:04:44 AM I don't have a child dealing with BPD. Instead it's my spouse. However, I just can't imagine how difficult it must be to be a parent of a child with BPD. I commend you all for your strength and dedication to your children. I have a sister with paranoid schizophrenia and I see how it tears up her mom (my stepmom).

It always helps to know someone cares, and yes it is one of the hardest things to deal with. You can divorce a spouce if the going get too rough, but you can't do that with a child. In return let me tell you I have admiration for those who stay and work with their loved ones, when they do have a choice. It shows a real strength of character.
