Title: Mother's Day cards Post by: peaceandhope on May 16, 2013, 09:43:45 PM My dd sent me very beautiul mother's day cards.
I know she loves me as much as any person with BPD can with their symptoms. I have distanced myself to protect her from acting out( I dont if Iam doing the right thing by doing that) and for my own wellbeing. I talked very briefly when she calls and I keep it very superficially. Just wanted to shared this with my friends here. I wish I could say from my own experience that they do come back, but mine has not yet. I have had a nice break from all the craziness, but I still miss him. Sometimes we have to take care not to let it tear us down. We are people and deserve some peace in our lives.
Just by the simple fact that she sent you a card tells me she is thinking about you, and as hard as it is to believe... . she does love you. angel Title: Re: Mother's Day cards Post by: peaceandhope on May 18, 2013, 01:54:27 PM Thanks jellibeans, Griz and Angeldust.
Yes I was very happy to recieve the card. Angeldust, I know she loves me. Outside of her illness she is truly a wonderful girl. But unfortunately this cruel illness takes over her thoughts, emotions and behaviors and makes her do the things that are unhealthy and destructive. Peaceandhope |
